Strengthened family ties can reduce numbers of vulnerable children-FFOD

Lusaka, March 15, 2013 ZANIS ——— Family Foundation of Hope (FFOD) has called for straightened family ties in the country.

Family Foundation of Hope founder Monde Imasiku said it is important to strengthen family ties so as to reduce numbers of vulnerable children and street kids.

Speaking during a stake holders meeting today, Mrs. Monde said her organisation helps children with pregnancy crisis while the sexually abused are helped to lead victors lives instead of victims.

Family Foundation of Hope is an organisation dealing with sexually abused children and people who leave with the guilty of abortion.

And Bridge Of Hope Hospital Limited Chief Executive Officer Getrude Tshuma has called on the church to get involved because abortion and abuse of children happen everywhere even in the church.

Dr Tshuma said the church mother bodies need to get involved because they can play a big role in the fight against abortion and child abuse.

She further explained that safe abortion is not always safe because of the long term consequences and complications which could be barely remembered and related to abortion.
