-Tourism and Arts Minister Sylvia Masebo has thanked the people of Livingstone for voting for Patriotic Front candidate Lawrence Evans in the just ended Livingstone parliamentary bye-election.
Ms Masebo said the winning of Mr Evans as Livingstone Member of Parliament will see more development in Livingstone.
Ms Masebo was speaking in Livingstone today upon arrival at Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport.
She said the people of Livingstone had given the Patriotic Front government the mandate to create the required employment opportunities in Livinsgtone.
The Minister who is leading a delegation of Permanent Secretaries also noted that she was in the tourist capital to harmonise the activities of both the National Steering Committee of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation and the Local Organising Committee.
