Local massage parlor offering sex to clients

WORKERS at a named massage parlour in Lusaka’s Longacres area are going beyond the legally stipulated massage services to offer sex to clients, which they clandestinely refer to as ‘happy ending’.
This service, which is charged separately from the massage, costs between K200 and K300 and payment is made to the person offering it.
A check at the parlour on Friday last week by this author, who disguised himself as a client, revealed that the location is managed by foreign women.

The place is characterised by assorted luxurious cars driving in and out throughout the day.
Clients normally make reservations for massage sessions and for those who go there for the first time, it is usually as a result of word of mouth from friends and acquaintances who are regular clients.

I arrived at the parlour around 20:30 hours and an elderly receptionist immediately took me through the services offered by the parlour.
The pricing for massage ranges from K200 to K350. Body massage is pegged at K200, oil massage is K350, facial massage K200 and feet K230.
I had a slight difficulty in selecting the type of massage but after the recommendation and help from the woman, I decided to go for the oil massage and immediately a massage therapist appeared and asked me to follow her upstairs to a room which was vacant.

The rooms are quite small to only accommodate a bed, and I heard the unmistakable sounds of `happy ending’ pleasuring in the neighbouring room.
The massage therapist or female masseuse with me did not waste time to perform her duty immediately I took my clothes off and wrapped a bathing towel around my waist.

In the middle of the massage, the lady while pointing at my ****** whispered “you pay I make him feel better”.
As I engaged her pretending to be interested, she offered me sex for K300, but when I said I did not have that kind of money she pegged the service at K200 and refused to budge.

This was my opportunity to close the negotiations after which she handed me her business card asking me to call her before visiting the massage parlour next time.
In a case where an agreement is reached the ‘happy ending’ act is performed within the 60 minutes massage session.

Lusaka City Council (LCC) assistant public relations manager Brenda Katongola said in an interview that the local authority does not issue trading licences for people to conduct sexual services or run brothels.
Ms Katongola said LCC will conduct its own investigations and bring the culprits to book.
“The law will take its course, we have received numerous reports on the operations of brothels in the city and our officers are on the ground carrying out investigations,” she said.
