FAZ/MTN league enters week 25

Lusaka, October 3rd, ZANIS– The battle for supremacy in the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ/MTN) super league continues as the group enters week 25 this weekend.

Agrey Chiyangi’s side ZANACO travels to Chingola to face in-form Nchanga Rangers at Nchanga stadium in what is expected to be a tough encounter.

Chiyangi will be looking for an outright win after receiving massive criticism from ZANACO fans following last week’s nil all draw with Konkola Mine Police at Sunset Stadium.

After the match, ZANACO fans called for the dismissal of Chiyangi despite the team being at the top of the FAZ/MTN super league on 51 points.

And after a nil all draw against Green Eagles in Choma last week, second placed Power Dynamos hosts Konkola Blades at Arthur Davies stadium in Kitwe.

According to the fixtures obtained by ZANIS Sports from Football House in Lusaka today, Konkola Mine Police takes on Nakambala Leopards at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.

In Ndola, Indeni awaits Kabwe Warriors at Indeni Sports Complex while ZESCO United hosts NAPSA Stars at Trade Fair grounds.

Woodlands stadium in Lusaka will be hosting a double header encounter with all two matches to be beamed live on Supersport.

In the first game, National Assembly takes on relegation threatened Roan United while Green Buffaloes take on Nkana in a second game.

On Sunday, relegation threatened Red Arrows plays Green Eagles at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka. This match will be carried live on Supersport.
