Ahead of the Commonwealth Games next week Ronnie, Danny and Ricky Singh have been spending time in the ring with Zambia's boxing prospects

Zambian boxers taking part in the Commonwealth Games in Scotland have revived hope that the country may increase the number of medals.

This is after two Zambian boxers qualified to the next round of boxing qualifications.

Charles Lumbwe qualified to the last round of 16 after defeating Bernado Marrime 2-1 in Points to win in the men’s 64 Kg category.

And Boxer BENNY MUZIYO last night qualified to the last round of 16 after defeating Jamaican Michael Gardner 3-0 win in Points to increase the country’s chances of winning medals at the games.

Boxing coach Kennedy Kanyanta said he is happy with the performance of the two boxers.
