It’s hard to imagine it if you’ve grown up in the industrialized world, but in many places like Zambia, 50 percent of the rural population don’t have access to clean water.
Every day, more than 1,600 Zambian children under the age of five die from illnesses caused by unsafe drinking water.
This is why World Vision’s Zambia Project has taken up a really fantastic endeavor: to bring clean water to rural Zambia and save children’s lives.
