Kapeya urges civil servants to be focused

Shiwang`andu, February 6, 2014. ZANIS —  Information and
Broadcasting Services  minister Mwansa Kapeya has advised civil servants in
Shiwang`andu district to be focused  on  developing  the
area.

Mr. Kapeya said civil servants are engines of development in the new
district hence the need for them to be committed to work and avoid
engaging themselves into politics.

The minister said this in a meeting with Shiwang`andu based civil
servants before officiating at the launch of FM Radio transmitters in
Shiwang`andu district.

 

The meeting was held at the office of the District Board Secretary
(DEBS) in Shiwang`andu.

 

The minister who is also Mpika Area Member of Parliament   further
said that he is looking forward to see how civil servants will perform
in developing the district according to the expectation of the PF
Government.

 

And speaking on behalf of civil servants District Administrative
Officer (DAO) Stephen Mulenga thanked the PF Government for the
developmental projects  ongoing in the area.

 

Mr. Mulenga said the developmental projects will help in addressing
some of the numerous challenges that civil servants are faced with, in
the new district.
