The opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) has observed that it is the first time in the history of Zambia that people have been let down in the first term by the ruling party.

NAREP National Secretary, Reverend Jevan Kamanga, has told QFM News that it is unfortunate that the PF has lost popularity due to failure to govern the nation on the basis of their promises.

Reverend Kamanga says President Michael Sata has taken the opposition as his greatest enemy thereby making it difficult for himself to be advised by the opposition.

He points out that the former ruling party; MMD was in power for twenty years and have enough experience on governance issues but that the PF cannot take any advice coming from them.

He says governance is about consultation from stakeholders on issues affecting the people.
