Chikwelete refuses to apologise

Mr. Chikwelete has also stated that he will not apologize for ousting former Lusaka District chairperson Goodson Banda.

Mr. Banda has demanded a public apology from Mr. Chikwelete for allegedly embarrassing party and republican President Micheal Sata who he claimed had appointed him to the position of interim PF Lusaka District chairperson when in fact not.

Mr. Chikwelete has however told Qfm in an interview that he has already thanked President Sata and that there is no need for any apology.

He says the fact that President Sata has called for an election to usher in a new leadership for the PF Lusaka Distinct office is a justification that there was allegedly some irregularities in the election of Mr Banda.

He says this is why there is need to hold new elections to usher in a new legitimate leadership.
