Messages of condolences to bereaved families in the Chisamba road traffic accident that claimed 18 lives have continued pouring in with the latest coming from National Restoration Party (NAREP) president, Elias Chipimo Junior.

Mr Chipimo said his party has offered sincere condolences to the bereaved families and prays for victims that are still recovering from their injuries.

In a statement released to ZANIS in Lusaka today, the NAREP leader noted that the incident reminds the nation of the frailty of human beings.

Mr Chipimo said as a person who lost a mother in a road accident in 2008, he knows the pain that the families of the victims of the tragic event will be going through.

He, however, advised that such avoidable deaths should not urge the nation towards the edge of despair but towards an appreciation of the responsibilities of citizens of a nation that claims to follow Christ.

Yesterday, the nation buried 18 people who died in yet another road traffic accident when the minibus they were travelling in collided with a truck along Kabwe road.
