Chief Sandwe hails President Sata’s leadership

————–Chief  Sandwe  of  the
Nsenga people  in Petauke has paid tribute to President Micheal Sata for his visionary leadership.


Chief Sandwe said President Sata’s developmental agenda has won many
people’s hearts adding that the involvement of Chiefs in developmental progammes  is unprecedented.


The Traditional leader said that the current electrification of Chiefs’ palaces,
construction of roads and health posts are  a  fulfilment of  the
promises the PF government made in the run up to the 2011 tripartite
elections.


He appealed to the people of Zambia to give the PF government time to
fulfil its campaign promises adding that it is not possible to
complete all the promises overnight.


The traditional leader said he has identified land which will be given to government for the purpose of constructing a secondary school in line the PF manifesto of building secondary
schools in every Chiefdom.


He said this today when Eastern Province minister Malozo Sichone paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.


And Eastern Province Minister Malozo  Sichone  said government has
made provisions in the 2013/2015 budget to build modern palaces
in all the Chiefdoms countrywide.


Mr Sichone also said the construction of health posts in the province
will commence in the next six weeks as the tender procedures have been
completed.


He reiterated government’s commitment of working with Chiefs in taking
development to the people adding that Chiefs will be involved in
the distribution of fertilizer to cut on corruption which marred  the
exercise.


He also assured the Chief that the construction of secondary schools in
all the Chiefdoms will commence next year.
