Mother of Chief Mboshya of Luano district has died.
And government has sent messages of condolences to the family of Chief Mboshya following the death of the Chief’s mother this morning after an illness.
Mkushi District Commissioner (DC), Christopher Chibuye, confirmed the bereavement to ZANIS, and issued the condolence statement on behalf of Government.
Mr Chibuye said that District Administration in Mkushi would join Chief Mboshya in mourning the loss of his mother, saying the development had been received with much sadness.
He also mentioned that his office would render as much support towards the funeral proceedings.
Mr Chibuye further said the funeral would be taking place in Chief Mboshya’s Chiefdom.
Chief Mboshya’s Chiefdom is among five chiefdoms located in the newly created Luano District, with others being Mboroma, Chembe, Kaneshya and Kaundula.
