Mwaliteta warns against divisive politicians
Kaoma, July 25, 2014,ZANIS—Central Province minister Obvious Mwaliteta has urged the electorate in Mangango constituency in Kaoma district not to allow people with divisive minds to penetrate the area.
Mr Mwaliteta, who is also PF campaign manager for the Mangango parliamentary by-election, said Kaoma and Mangango in particular is a peaceful area which can develop with the right representation in parliament.
The Kafue lawmaker, who was speaking when he toured PF branches in Shikombwe ward in Kaoma, said politicians have a sweet talk and urged the constituents to be wary of people who want to achieve individual benefits other than distributing wealth to the masses.
Mr Mwaliteta said he was pleased that youths in Chilombo area in Mangango constituency were desperate for economic empowerment unlike those who were asking for money to engage in beer drinking.
He said the PF government wants the people of Mangango to feel the positive change it has brought about just like those in the other parts of the country.
Mr Mwaliteta urged the electorate in Mangango to decide whether to give their vote to the opposition or to its candidate Rogers Lingweshi whom he said will be able to articulate their concerns in parliament well.
He said the soon-to-be constructed Kaoma – Kasempa road under the Link Zambia 8000 road project will provide employment to the local youths when the contractor moves on site.
