Power Dynamos coach Tennant Chilumba has cautioned that his team is far from 100 per cent ready despite positive results in the 2014 pre-season.

The Kitwe club is unbeaten in their all their six pre-season friendly matches played so far winning four and picking up two draws.

Chilumba, who took charge at Power last June, said there was still a lot of work to be done after a poor 2013 season in which they finished eighth after battling relegation way into the final stretch of last year’s campaign.

“We have not reached 100 per cent for now and we will keep on working hard,” Chilumba said.

“Last year we struggled but with me it was just a bad patch and people said we did not do well but in the last few games the team did fine.”

Meanwhile, Chilumba has taken Power away from their Kitwe base to Livingstone on a two-week training camp that began on January 28 where they have won two and draw one of their three friendly games in the Zambian tourist Capital.

Power beat Division One North side Livingstone Pirates 3-0 on Friday and a day later defeated another lower tier side Zesco Victoria Falls FC.

On Sunday, Power drew 2-2 with promoted FAZ Super League club Nakambala Leopards.

Power head back to Kitwe on Thursday after playing Nakambala again this Wednesday in Mazabuka.
