Patriotic Front (PF) youth in Eastern Province have expressed disappointment with United National Development Party (UPND) leader, Hakaide Hichilema’s prejudiced remarks against the republic Vice President, Guy Scott.

Chipata Central Constituency youth chairperson, Cosmas Mwanza, said the racist remarks by Mr Hichilema lack morals and qualities of a good leader.

This is contained in a press release made available to ZANIS in Chipata today.

Mr Mwanza said the UPND leader should humble himself by following the footsteps of the late Anderson Mazoka who was among good leaders with upright leadership qualities that have remained memorable to most Zambians.

“We, as PF youth in Eastern Province, will not sit idle and listen to insults hauled at our leaders by UPND leader, Hakaide Hichilema,” he said.

He said that the party was aware that Mr Hichilema was bitter because PF campaign promises are yielding fruits, adding that people countrywide were already appreciating as evidenced by a number of people joining the PF party.

Mr Mwanza said nothing would distract PF from taking development to all parts of the county as a way of creating employment to the people of Zambia.

Mr Hichilema was quoted in one of the daily newspapers that he insulted Republican Vice President, Guy Scott last week.
