Minister calls for Tender Act review

—-Health Deputy Minister, Christopher Mulenga, says there is need to revise the Tender Act as it has a lot of issues.

Mr Mulenga said nearly all key stakeholders in the country are of the view that the Act needed to be reviewed as soon as possible.

He said it is this same Act that was making most of the government contracts to be delayed for over two years in some cases from the date of completion.

He said this in Milenge District recently during his conducted tour of the Luapula Province where he went to check on the drug situation, infrastructural development and nursing schools in the area.
