Court Bemoans Delays In Ruth Mbandu’s Case

A Lusaka division criminal investigations officer has been summoned to appear in court over delays in committing the Ruth Mbandu murder case to the high court.

Lusaka resident magistrate, Betty Malupenga, expressed concern over delays in the case.

This order followed revelations by public prosecutor Paul Mwansa that he had not yet received instructions for the matter to be committed to the high court for trial.
