– A family of Lusaka’s Helen Kaunda residential area is spending nights outside after they were evicted from the house by some named court bailiffs.

The Family said bailiffs took their property outside and told them that they were granted permission after their relative Nganga Siakabwala sold the house to a Mr. Killian Mweene at a cost of KR48, 000.

It is alleged that Mr. Siakabalwa sold the house to Mr. Killian Mweene without the consent of the family.

A check by ZANIS at the house in Helen Kaunda found property lying outside the gate while the house was locked.

However Muleya and Namatama Mwanda who are sisters to Mr. Siakabalwa complained that it was shocking in the manner in which they were evicted saying that there is no documented proof from Mr. Mweene of having purchased the house.

But Efforts to get a comment from Mr. Siakabalwa who is reported to be in Mumbwa failed as his phone went unanswered.
