Runner Brian Kasinda has stormed the finals of the men’s 1-Hundred meters race slated Monday tonight with an impressive ten point 29 seconds at the on-going All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville.

And Kabange Mupopo qualified to the semi-finals of the women’s 4-hundred meters race on Fifty One point 19 seconds.

This was during day one of the track and field events held on Sunday evening at the Concorde Sports Complex in Kintele, Brazzaville.

Saviour Kombe also qualified to the men’s 4-Hundred meters semi-finals after coming third in his heat with Forty Six point 12 seconds.

But 2014 Youth Olympics Gold medalist Sydney Siame was disqualified for a false start in Heat 2 of the Men’s 1-Hundred meters race.

Kasinda, who won his heat, described the qualification to the final as amazing, while Mupopo described the competition as tough.
