Lightening kills two females outside their home

Two people of the same family have died after they were struck by lightening in Manyinga district of the North Western province.

Manyinga District Commissioner Queen Manela confirmed the incident which happened yesterday around 15:00 hours in interview with ZANIS.

Ms Manela said the two females, Getrude Masuka aged 26 and Soni Kazemeka 21, both of Nswana Mukonge village in Senior Sikufele’s area were killed outside their home after a heavy rainfall.

Ms Manela who visited the funeral house donated food stuffs and described the incident as a mystery.

And Loloma Mission Hospital administrator Bruce Mukwatu confirmed receiving the two bodies.

Recently , two children died in the area after being struck by lightening while several household goods were destroyed.
