Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services Permanent Secretary Chanda Kasolo says government is doing everything possible to ensure that the plight of journalists in the country is uplifted.
And Mr. Kasolo has advised journalists in the country to dwell more on research so that they do not misinform the masses.
Mr. Kasolo says government is ware that some journalists in the country are not looked after well by their employers by subjecting them to bad working conditions.
He says his ministry is working on mechanisms that will see to it that all the journalists are subjected to better working conditions both in the public and private media.
Mr Kasolo adds that it is not the wish and will of government to see journalists subjected to poor working conditions.
