Catholic Bishop counsels Milenge voters

Chisanga says citizens who do not vote are responsible for apathy and bad governance.

 

And Bishop Chisanga has appealed to Milenge residents to turn up in large numbers tomorrow and vote for their preferred candidate.

ZANIS reports that Bishop Chisanga said this during Sunday Mass at Saint
Kizito Catholic church in Milenge district yesterday.

He said every citizen has the right to vote for a candidate of his or her
choice and should not be intimidated by any political party.

He advised the residents to vote for a credible leader who will be uplift
the lives of the poor.

Bishop Chisanga has also cautioned youths against engaging in
political violence.

He said youths have the right to say no to violence as it could endanger their lives.

Bishop Chisanga also prayed for peace during and after the January elections.
