LUSAKA, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) — Zambia international striker Jacob Mulenga has joined Turkish first division side Adana Demispor on a one-year deal, the Zambia Daily Mail reported on Friday.
The 30-year-old international has joined the Turkish side after rejecting a new contract at Dutch outfit FC Utrecht.
The Turkish side announced on its website on its decision to sign on the Zambian international who left his Dutch side in June this year.
The injury-plagued international scored 45 goals in 112 appearances in the Dutch league despite suffering lengthy injuries during his five-year stay at the Dutch side.
Mulenga has also played for French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg where he spent the 2007/2008 season on loan from Berrichonne Chateauroux.
