Political parties in Kafue commended for supporting each other

-Lusaka Province Patriotic Front Secretary, Horace Longwe, has commended political parties in Kafue district for supporting each other during bereavements.

Mr Longwe said death is cross-cutting and hence the need for the residents to unite and support one another during such moments.

ZANIS reports that the PF Provincial Secretary said this during the burial of the late Esnart Sinkala, sister of Kafue District council chairperson, Gibson Sinkala, in Kafue.

He has since called on the youth in the district to embrace team work if the district is to develop.

Speaking at the same funeral, Kafue Member of Parliament, Obvious Mwaliteta, encouraged Kafue residents to emulate the love shown by the Republican President, Michael Chilufya Sata, in times of bereavements.

Mr Mwaliteta said this in a speech read on his behalf by Kafue District Commissioner, Grace Ngulube.

He also thanked the PF party, the community and other political parties in the district for supporting one another in times of need.
