The Anti-Voter Apathy Project (AVAP) has called for full compliance to the Electoral code of conduct by all political parties intending to participate in the 22nd November central by-election.

AVAP Executive Director Richwell Mulwani has also urged campaign managers from all political parties intending to participate the in the Mansa central by-election to tame their cadres and educate them on the provisions of Electoral Code of Conduct to avoid any eruption of violence during the by-election.

Mr. Mulwani has further appealed to the electorate in Mansa central Constituency to take time to visit the AVAP office in the District which will be readily available to conduct civic and voter education ahead of the polls.

He has further observed the need for the electorate in Mansa to take time and study the regulations under the Electoral code of conduct so that they can hold accountable political parties that are in breach of the code of conduct.

And Mr. Mulwani has also appealed to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in the District to take initial interest in the by-election so that acts of electoral corruption are deterred during the campaigns.
