Ghana arrive in Kumasi for Zambia vs Ghana clash

Defender John Boye wants to help Ghana beat Zambia

Ghana’s squad have arrived in Kumasi to face Zambia on Friday in the Group D Brazil 2014 World Cup decider.

The Black Stars touched down at the Kumasi Airport before midday and moved to the city’s orphanage where donations were made.

They trained in Accra for three days to prepare for the crucial assignment.

Kwesi Appiah and his charges will train at the Baba Yara Stadium, match venue, on Wednesday afternoon.

Ghana need to avoid defeat against the Chipolopolo to progress to the play-offs of the African qualifiers.

The ten group winners will be drawn against each other with the five winners after two legs making it to the final in Brazil.
