Kasama PF petition GBM’s absence

—-Kasama Central Constituency Committee members   have petitioned the office of the PF Secretary General, Wynter Kabimba to help resolve the impasse surrounding Kasama Member of Parliament, Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba.

 

In a letter signed by 15 constituency members availed to ZANIS today, the members complained that their MP has not met nor sat down with them to plan development and political programmes since the PF Government assumed power.

 

The constituency officials complained that it has proved difficult for them to implement their programme of action as well as to mobilize party’s activities in eight (8) wards of their constituency.

 

They further complained that they lacked logistics such as financial and transport resources.

 

They are calling on their Member of Parliament to consider visiting them and rejuvenate party activities which are alleged to be at stand still.

 

In receiving the petition, Provincial Executive Secretary, Evarist Chela, called for discipline in the ruling party in the province.

 

Mr Chela observed that some PF party members have been ignoring the party constitution which is bringing a lot of confusion in the party.

 

Mr Chela has also appealed to the Republican President, Michael Sata, to upgrade Mpanda, Senga Hill, Lubushi and Kapatu into districts to enable the people acquire quality services from government.

 

He also threatened to lock up some Government offices where civil servants are allegedly working against the party in Government.

 

And efforts to get a comment from Kasama Member Of Parliament by phone failed as his phone went an answered
