Lusaka, March 17th, ZANIS— Green Buffaloes Football club and Napsa Stars this afternoon locked horns to a 0-0 drew in an interesting FAZ/MTN super league week one match played at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka this afternoon.

Both teams missed several scoring chances with Green buffaloes dominating most of the play but failed to get to the back of the net.

Speaking during a post match interview, Napsa Stars coach Peter Kaumba said his side was lucky to snatch an away point from Green Buffaloes because they did not play accordingly.

Kaumba said his team missed several chances which could have resulted into goals but attributed it to lack of tactical approach by his strikers

Meanwhile, Green Buffaloes coach Patrick Phiri said his team played well despite failing to collect full maximum points.

Phiri who was facing his former team Napsa Stars after being fired in the middle of last year’s soccer season said his team was a better side which would have easily won the match.

He however said today’s match was an eye opener for his boys considering that this was the first match of the season.
