The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia-EFZ- has called on the Technical Committee on Drafting the Country’s Constitution to be mindful of its deadline of June 2013 for completing its work, while it considers holding a national convention on the draft constitution.
EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza has observed that as a matter of integrity, the Technical has to adhere to the schedule month of June this year as the deadline for handing in the final document of the new draft constitution.
Rev. Mwanza has told Qfm in an interview that if the Technical Committee fails to meet the June deadline, it will imply that its work lacks credibility and was poorly planned.
The Technical Committee had earlier announced that it will hold the national convention on the country’s draft constitution following successful District and Provincial conventions.
