ECZ finds Mugadza’s O’levels results as false

Lusaka, March, 01, ZANIS — Examination Council of Zambia (ECZ) has confirmed that  embattled Dr. Tinaye Mugadza’s G.C.E O’level results are false.

ECZ Information Education and Communication Specialist Ronald Tembo says from the  verification process which was carried out by the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) it has been proved that Dr. Mugadza’s GCE results were false.

ZANIS reports that Mr. Tembo said this in a statement released in Lusaka , today.

The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) confirmed to ECZ that although Dr. Mugadza wrote the November 1992 examinations at Glen High School (I) in Harare, he did not qualify.

Mr. Tembo has since called on the public not to accept or employ Dr. Mugadza on account of the contents his false results.

The verification of Dr. Mugadzas’ result came because of a recent report by the local media that Dr. Mugadza disputed that his GCE Cambridge results were genuine.

The Zambia Federation of Employers reported Dr. Mugadza to Central Police after he presented a fake PhD and Master’s degrees in Economics forcing.

This made the ECZ to engage the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) to verify the General Certificate of Education (GCE) ordinary Level examination results, which Dr. Mugadza had presented for equating.

Mr. Tembo said from this experience, the Examination Council of Zambia shall verify all foreign qualifications with appropriate examination boards before equating them to the Zambian standard.
