Livingstone voters are lucky says official

Western Province Deputy Minister, Obvious Mwaliteta, says people of Livingstone are lucky that former UPND member of Parliament, Howard Sikwela resigned to give chance for people to vote for someone who will bring development in Livingstone.

Mr Mwaliteta said for three times now people of Livingstone have voted for someone who has failed to deliver, hence the need to vote for someone who will bring development to the people of Livingstone.

Mr Mwaliteta was speaking during a media breakfast when he introduced PF Livingstone adopted candidate, Evans Lawrence, in Livingstone yesterday.

He advised Livingstone voters to vote for Mr Evans because he is familiar with Livingstone town and down to earth.

Mr Mwaliteta is in Livingstone to drum up support for Mr Evans ahead of the forthcoming Parliamentary by elections.

And Mr Evans said despite being new in politics, he was not new in Livingstone and can deliver development for the people of Livingstone.

Mr Evans thanked President Michael Sata for according him a chance to
stand on the PF ticket Livingstone Central Constituency.

Mr Evans, who is is a local businessman, said he is free for consultations anytime.

Livingstone Central Constituency fell vacate after the resignation of UPND Member of Parliament, Howard Sikwela.

By elections are slated for February 28, 2013.
