PF Monze vice chair fears for his life, flees to Siavonga

2011 losing PF Bweengwa Parliamentary election candidate Francis Bwembya is living in fear of his life after a group of suspected UPND cadres threatened to kill him last week.

Mr. Bwembya who is also Monze PF vice chairman says the alleged cadres, who were chanting UPND slogans, warned that they would not tolerate people who seemed to be supporting the ruling PF and President Edgar Lungu in Monze District.

He says that following the incident, he is now living in fear and has since decided to flee to Siavonga.

Mr. Bwembya says the UPND Monze wants to kill him because he is a vibrant Patriotic Front who is making sure that he mobilizes more members to join the ruling party.

He further appealed to the Zambia police service to arrest the UPND cadres so that he can go back to his family members.
