Nevers appeals to Zambians to vote for him
Lusaka, January 4, 2015, ZANIS…Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) president Nevers Mumba has called on Zambians not to experiment with leadership but instead vote for him on January 20,2015.
Dr Mumba said he was the best candidate among all the eleven presidential aspirants who will be jostling for plot one on January 20, 2015 saying his vision is to uplift the living standards of the Zambians.
ZANIS reports that the MMD leader said this today during a mammoth rally held at Zingalume grounds in Matero constituency in Lusaka.
Dr Mumba told the gathering that Zambians should not experiment leaders because governing the nation needed a person who has served in the public office for many years.
He noted that once voted into power he will be able to do many good things economically which Zambian people have been yearning for so many years.
Dr Mumba said there are alarming levels of unemployment in thecountry which the New MMD party will be able to rectify within a short period of time.
And Speaking at the same rally MMD National Secretary Mwansa Mbulakulima said Zambians should not be cheated by other political party leaders that they will bring development to the country for the benefit of the citizens.
Mr Mbulakulima said it was only under the leadership of Dr Mumba will the country be able to develop.
He said Zambians have been cheated for a long time adding that time had come to bring back into power the former ruling party.
The MMD National secretary noted that Dr Nevers Mumba has vast experience having worked as a vice President under the leadership of late President Dr Levy Mwanawasa.
