— Zambians urged to embrace peace

Luwingu District Commissioner Mambwe Katontoka has called on all Zambians to embrace the country’s  peace as the country celebrates the  jubilee .

 

 

And Lupososhi  MP Lazarous Chungu urged  residents in the area to celebrate the golden jubilee whole heartedly considering that Luwingu was among the districts  that fought for independence.

 

 

Ms. Katontoka  says Zambians should emulate the spirit of the forefathers in the quest to remain a force to reckon with in terms of peace in the world.

 

 

The District commissioner has however urged all Zambians to dedicate the jubilee celebrations to God to ensure unity in  the country.

 

 

 ZANIS reports that Ms. Katontoka  was speaking during the golden jubilee independence celebrations at President’s Park in Luwingu , yesterday.

Mr. Chungu said Zambia has seen a lot strives in various sectors of the economy due to the efforts and vision of their forefathers.
