RDA’s Board chair Lisulo put to rest

 

LUSAKA, August 12,2014 ZANIS—- Former Road Development Agency (RDA) Board Chairperson Walusiku Lisulo who died last week has been put to rest.

 

 

Mr. Lisulo who is Wasawange Lodge and Tours proprietor was put to rest this afternoon at the Memorial Park in Lusaka.

 

 

Hundreds of imminent persons including  ordinary friends and mourners witnessed the burial.

 

 

 Addressing the mourners Family representative Sketchley Sacika described the late Mr. Lisulo as a hard-working man.

 

 

 Mr. Sacika, who is also the former Secretary to cabinate,  thanked all the mourners who helped to ease the burden of the family following the demise of the deceased, Lisulo.

 

 

Fourth former republican president Rupiah Banda, Finance Minister Alexander Chikwanda, former prime minister in the UNIP regime General Malimba Masheke and  UNIP Vice President Njekwa Anamela, where among the eminate figures at the burial.

 

 

Others included opposition People’s Party leader Mike Mulongoti, Alliance for Democracy and Development leader Charles Milupi among others who attended the church service held at the UCZ Trinity congregation.

 

 

Others are  PF Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda, embattled MMD vice president for politics Dr. Micheal Kaingo, veteran politician Mbita Chitala, former Food reserve Agency executive director David Matongo and scores of political opposition and ruling PF cadres.

 

The late Mr. Lisulo leaves behind six children and grand children,respectively.
