—-Patriotic Front (PF) Campaign Manager for the Kapiri Mposhi Parliamentary by-election, Philip Kosamu, says the PF was born out of the good will of the Zambian people.

Mr Kosamu, who is also Central Province Minister, said the party will remain committed to ensure that it distributes the national resources equally in order to befit every Zambian.

He was speaking in an interview with ZANIS in Kapiri Mposhi over the weekend where he is drumming up support for the PF candidate, Eddie Musonda, ahead of the April 23 Parliamentary by-election.

Mr Kosamu also said the PF has laid down a serious developmental agenda for Central Province such as improving the road network and the construction of schools and health centres among others.

Mr Kosamu has since urged the people of Kapiri Mposhi to rally behind the PF candidate, Eddie Musonda, in the April 23 Parliamentary by-election.

He added that the PF has put priority to developing all sectors of the country’s economy as one way of improving the living conditions of the Zambian people.

The Kapiri Mposhi parliamentary seat fell vacant after the Supreme Court nullified the election of MMD parliamentary candidate, Lawrence Zimba, and the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) set April 23 as the date for the by-election.

Participating political parties in the Kapiri Mposhi by-election are the UPND which has fielded Lawrence Zimba as its candidate while the United National Independence Party (UNIP) has Francis Mwape as its candidate.
