The first ever Four Nation Invitational Tournament kicks off the afternoon with some top of the bill clashes with South Africa’s Bafana Bafana taking on Angola’s Palancas Negras at 15:00 hours at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

Host nation Zambia will take to the field at 18:00 hours against the warriors of Zimbabwe.
All sides are fielding their strongest sides with the tournament falling within the FIFA international calendar.

Nyirenda has a blend of youth and experience in his squad with Zambia expected to fight to enhance its credentials.

In goal Nyirenda is expected to start with Toaster Nsabata in goal while skipper Ziyo Tembo is expected to marshal the backline alongside Adrian Chama while red hot Zesco United defender Bournwell Silengo could get a run in at left back.

Red bull Salzburg midfielder Enock Mwepu will be part of the promising attack launchpad linking up with the wing wizardly Augustine Mulenga and Ernest Mbewe to feed a familiar striking partnership of Brian Mwila and on-fire Orlando Pirates star Justin Shonga.

It will not however be a walk in the park as Zimbabwe have always been a troublesome opponent for Zambia.

Tickets are on sale via computicket while ZNBC has committed to beaming the tournament live.
