President Edgar Lungu has ordered five Ministers to give priority to projects that are under Construction in Muchinga Province.

The President has since directed the line ministers to hold a meeting and find a way of completing the pending projects in the province.

Minister of Finance Felix Mutati, Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya, Minister of Home Affairs Stephen Kampyongo, Minister of General Dennis Wanchinga and Muchinga Province Minister Malozo Sichone.

The Head of State says it is sad that works on some projects have not moved since he last visited Muchinga province.

He says people are wondering and thinking that government has abandoned the projects.

President Lungu says he will no longer entertain stories as he wants to see the projects done.

It was at this point that the President asked his special Assistant for Projects Monitoring and Implementation Andrew Chellah not to leave the province until the work is done.

This was when President Lungu toured the construction of a school in Shiwangandu district.

Meanwhile President Lungu took to task Minister of Home Affairs Stephen Kampyongo on why the works on the construction of a police station have not moved.

He wondered why the issue of water and electricity have not been worked on.

But Mr Kampyongo explained that the contractor has made progress and that the construction of a police station and houses will be completed in October this year.
