UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) vice-president for administration Geoffrey Mwamba says his party will lobby Parliament to repeal the Grade 12 certificate constitutional requirement for one to seek political office if it forms government because it is discriminatory.

And Mr Mwamba has appealed to Copperbelt residents to support UPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema in this year’s general elections because of what he termed his good entrepreneurship skills which can greatly help to transform the country’s economy.

Mr Mwamba told a sizeable number of people who attended his rallies in Kitwe and Mufulira yesterday that the UPND will ensure the Grade 12 certificate requirement is removed from the amended Constitution.
