TWO Mulungushi University students facing drug trafficking charges have been denied bail by the Kabwe Magistrate’s Court.
Ndambo Chinda, 22, and Missael Mwanza, 23, appeared in court separately on Thursday, before magistrate Maxwell Shiwanga.
The two requested for bail in separate sessions, but magistrate Shiwanga informed them that they could not be granted bail for alleged drug trafficking.
When the matter came up for facts, the State informed the court that the Drug Enforcement Commission is waiting for an analyst report from the Food and Drugs Control Laboratory in Lusaka before proceeding with the two cases.
Information before the court is that Chinda was on June 4 this year allegedly found with 43 muffins containing cannabis.

Mwanza was allegedly found in possession of loose cannabis weighing 32.1 grammes, without lawful authority.
