50 ‘Teachers’ swindled by conmen masquerading as an official from Ministry of Education

Over 50 prospective teachers have been swindled out of thousands of Kwacha by conmen masquerading as Ministry of Education Human Resource Offices charged with the responsibility of enlisting the services of 5,000 graduate teachers.

The conmen have been demanding K3,500 from prospective teachers aged 30 while 40 year olds are parting way with K4,500.

Ministry of Education Spokesperson, Hillary Chipango disclosed this in an interview with ZNBC news in Lusaka Tuesday.

Mr Chipango has warned that his ministry has engaged security wings to track down the conmen.

He has since cautioned prospective teachers to be alert and report such people to the Ministry of Education.
