Chief Mukobela of the Ila speaking people of Namwala district says government should give the people of Zambia a new constitution before the 2016 general elections.

Chief Mukobela adds that the new constitution should be adopted by way of a referendum.
He says traditional leaders are also interested in progressive clauses submitted towards the constitution making process.

Chief Mukobela notes that it is only a good constitution that will help correct the many things that have gone wrong in the country.

He adds that if the PF has to win the hearts of the people of Zambia, it should give them a constitution as soon as possible.

Chief Mukobela has further advised the people of Zambia not to relent, but continue to demand for a new constitution which they were promised.
