BUS accident kill three people

• THREE PEOPLE HAVE DIED ON THE SPOT LEAVING SEVERAL OTHERS INJURED AFTER A LUSAKA-MPULUNGU BOUND POWER TOOLS BUS OVERTURNED ALONG THE MPIKA-KASAMA ROAD.

 

The Lusaka-Mpulungu bound Power Tools Bus, a Scania Irizar bus bearing registration number ACK 143 that hit into a pothole and overturned along the Mpika-Kasama road on 27th February, 2015  killing three on the spot.

The accident happened near the Shiwang’andu turn-off about 45 kilometers away from Mpika Boma in the early hours of 27th February, 2015 around 02:30 hours when the SCANIA IRIZAR bus bearing registration number ACK 143 hit into a pothole and overturned.

The bus driver Jeremiah Banda of Chingola, his conductor Lenard Chanda and unknown male adult passenger died on the spot.
