— PF in Kaputa calls for hard work ahead of the 2016 polls

Patriotic Front (PF) leadership in Kaputa district of Northern Province has called for more hard work from the party in the province in order to grow its support base ahead of the 2016 polls.

 

 


PF Kaputa District Chairperson, Dickson Chomba says  the  ruling party should not relax after last month’s election victory but continue working hard to ensure that it record 100 percent votes in next year’s polls.

 


Mr. Chomba urged PF provincial committee to give more support towards party mobilization to ensure that the province remain a PF stronghold.

 


He said the district will also embark on sensitization of old members and the recruitment of new members so that they register as voters and vote in the 2016 elections.

 


The PF Kaputa District Chairperson said this in an interview with ZANIS in Kaputa today.

 


Mr. Chomba who also commented on the re-appointment of Freedom Sikazwe as Northern Province Minister said Mr. Sikazwe has shown that he is hard working member of the party.

 


He has since thanked President Edgar Lungu for reappointing Mr. Sikazwe as the Provincial Minister.

 


He called on Mr. Sikazwe to ensure that he pushes government in delivering its campaign promises adding that this will automatically win the hearts of the people in the province.

 


Mr. Chomba stated that government should ensure that it works on the Mporokoso, Nsama to Kaputa road which has been the biggest cry for people in the districts.

 


He has also expressed happiness with the gazetting of Henry Kanyanta Sosala as the Paramount Chief  Chitimukulu of the Bemba speaking people.

 


Mr. Chomba added that he is very confident that President Lungu’s administration will work hard to honour its campaign promises.
