Power dynamos intensify CAF preps

Zambia’s envoy in the 2015 Confederations
of African Football (CAF) Confederations Cup Power Dynamos has
intensified preparations ahead of the forth coming continental
championship.


The Kitwe based and Copperbelt Energy Corporation
(CEC) sponsored outfit takes on Kenya’s Sofapaka Football Club in a
friendly match in Kenya.


Power Dynamos Team Manager Lombe Chipupu confirmed to ZANIS Sports from Nairobi that the match will be played at Nyanyo stadium in Nairobi.


The Tenant Chilumba drilled side is in Kenya for a ten day training
programme ahead of the first round CAF confederation cup encounter against
Al Khartoum of Sudan.


Power plays Al Khartoum on February 14, 2015 at Khartoum stadium at 20
hours while the return leg will be played on February 28, 2015 at
Arthur Davis stadium in Kitwe.


Meanwhile, on Sunday Power Dynamos started their CAF Continental
preparations in Kenya with a 3-0 win over Gor Mahia at Nyanyo Stadium
in Nairobi.


On the other hand, Zambia’s representative in the CAF Champions league
ZESCO United will host Mbabane Swallows of Swaziland in the first game
to be played on February 14 at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola.
