In an interview with ZANIS today District Electoral Officer Tryson Chunga said so far the conflict Resolution committee of the Commission has not received any complaints from political parties and other stakeholders concerning the campaigns.

He observed that there are also no reports of removal of campaign materials for the all political parties participating in the election adding that it was an indication that all the parties were adhering to the  electoral code of conduct.

“I can confidently say that so far campaigns in the district have been peaceful without any incidences of violence or removal of campaign materials for all political parties and to us this indicates that the campaigns are going on well in the district,” said Mr. Chunga.
