–Kafue District Commissioner, Grace Ngulube, says the private sector plays a vital role in the delivery of educational services in the  country and Kafue district in particular.

Ms Ngulube added it was for this reason that the Patriotic Front government has placed great importance to education and cherishes the partnership with private schools in the district.

The District Commissioner said this in a speech read on her behalf by the District Administration Officer, Ngoni Moyo, during the graduation of 35 pupils from Reception Class to Grade One at Dasma School in Kafue district.

.

Ms Ngulube has since urged teachers in the district to continue working hard if the pupils were to grow into responsible citizens.

Speaking earlier, Dasma School Director, Lisco Siandenge, thanked government for providing an enabling environment for the private sector to attain their goals and contribute to national development.

The school has currently enrolled over 200 pupils from baby class to Grade 7.
