Common Cause Party to contest the January 20 by-elections

–The Common Cause Democracy president, Abel James Mtonga, has announced his candidature for the January, 20, 2015 presidential by-elections.

 

In a statement released to ZANIS today, Mr Mtonga said he is optimistic of grabbing power from the ruling party and hand it back to the 73 tribes of Zambia who are the sovereign authority.

 

He promised that when he scoops the presidential by-elections, he will ensure that land is given back to traditional leaders to avoid being deprived.

 

Mr Mtonga said he will also set up a truth and reconciliation commission to address the violations of the Zambian government defrauded of the treasury, assets and property.
