The Zambia Open Community Schools (ZOCS) has commended Professor Michael Kelly for his great contribution to the education sector in the country.
(ZOCS) Board Chairperson Maurine Simunchemba said Professor Kelly has been actively involved in helping orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) especially the girl child and disabled children access quality education through the
open Community Schools.
She said this when ZOCS presented an award to Prof. Kelly in recognition of his 22 years of championing provision of quality education for vulnerable children in Zambia .
And Michael Kelly said he was overwhelmed and highly appreciated
the support and recognition he received from ZOCS.
He said ZOCS should continue with its commitment of bettering
the lives of vulnerable children by promoting access to quality education.
Prof. Kelly also urged the children to concentration on their education for
them to excel in their lives.
