Changala proposes inquiry to probe occurrence prior Sata’s death

Civil rights activist Brebner Changala says the establishment of a commission of inquiry at an appropriate time will be seriously ideal to establish what happened behind the scene prior to the death of President Michael Sata.

Mr. Changala says he thinks there are some people in government that should be held accountable for having concealed the illness of the late President Sata from the Zambian people.

 

He has told Qfm News by telephone that the commission of inquiry he is proposing should investigate who exactly knew what went on behind the scenes prior to the death of the President.

Mr. Changala says the commission of inquiry should further establish why Cabinet did not act during the period it was alleged that the President was unwell.

Mr. Changala notes that the inquiry should additionally explain why the medical checkup President Sata was said to undergo abroad led to his death.
